Holds: How to place a request Holds can be placed on items (4 hour loans and special collection items excluded) currently on loan, or available at another campus. To request a hold on an item: Search the Library catalogue and find the item Select the Request button, located at the bottom right of the screen next to the item details Leave as "Any copy" and select the campus where you would like to pick up the item under Pickup location. Note: Items that are available on the shelf, cannot be collected from the same location where the item is located. Students eligible for Off Campus Library (OCLS) delivery service should select the pickup location as Off Campus Library Service and the item will be posted to you. Select request. An email will be sent as soon as the item is available for collection from your requested pickup location and will be held for 4 days. You can view the status and expiry date of your requested items, as well as cancel any requests no longer needed by logging into myLibrary Have more questions?
